Websites
Infinitum Energy is a relatively new company operating out of Kitchener, Ontario. They wanted a website that is more informational instead of e-commerce style. Eventually we may add the online shop to the navigation.

Overall the website ties together very nicely, its very simply laid out and easy to navigate. I used a green theme to convey the right idea. I will continue to work with Infinitum Energy to provide a great web experience.
Younique Blogs is a subsidiary of Younique Country Retreat, a scrapbookers retreat and store located right outside of Guelph. They wanted to create a blog to increase web traffic to their online store as well as create awareness of their "Younique" retreat. The blog is using WordPress as the CMS, which made it very simple and quick to get them running. I mimicked the design from their current sites, I also provide maintenance for this site and their other two websites.

This also inspired me to create my own blog, check it out!
This is the website you are on right now. For this project I used a variation of different simple design techniques and visual effects. The goal was to keep the design and features to a minimum to keep everything looking clean and professional. The use of a portfolio is used to allow users to view examples of the services/products offered on this website. The main goal was to provide an easy to navigate and easy to update website, I will always be working on DanielKelly.me to improve and bring new features to the table.
DC Property Maintenance operates in and around Erin/Hillsburgh, ON. They needed something something "that looks good, but isn't too flashy" and something they can edit themselves. They agreed on the yellow/orange (safety vest) colour scheme, so I took it one step further and came up with this. The various buttons and headers closely resemble that of award-pins to draw attention to the prestigiousness of this company. This is a perfect example for companies with a small overhead that are looking to make an online presence.
Working with Erin Radio has been a delight, and the website has been magic. This project's main focus was for it to be easily edited for as little overhead on website maintenance as possible. We decided to use Joomla!, a free content management system with mass support and application databases. New features are easily added to their site often and they enjoy the benefits of managing their own content. Quite a few improvements from the last site, being that it is more widely available on different browsers and there is much more space for advertising.
OGServers is directed at the younger, video game era crowd. This website includes many features other than basic website layout. The design was brought to me and I was to bring it to life with all the features and web applications shown on the design. I am also to design and implement a custom content management system when business resumes with OGServers. A definite attention grabber for a video game enthusiasts.

Web-Applications

Facebook GrabTagged

This is a BETA release of my new facebook application GrabTagged. This "app" will package and prepare for download all pictures that you are tagged in. You can deselect specific images for inclusion and have the power to decide which pictures you want. The next BETA phase will include features to; 1) Get your own albums, 2) Filename Options, 3) Only download from specific friends, events, groups, networks, etc.

Top Keywords

I made this web application to automatically generate meta keywords for website automatically on every page load. It is developed in PHP and optimized for speed. It will generate 1, 2 and 3 words keywords/key phrases and output them. Click the link for an example or to analyze your website's most occurring words and phrases.

Text File Categorizer

This is a bash script using awk in Linux. I developed this script to search each line in a text file for matching expressions and append the category or text associated as well as a separator at the end of the line that was worked on. This script will search each line independently and each search expression on every line.

PHP IRC Live Support Check/Display

A basic beta version of my live support check and display tool. This PHP script will login to your favoured IRC network and whois your specified username, if the whois comes back successful you will be deemed online and your website will change to that status. Next release, I will include functionality to upload your own live support online or offline images, implement the IRC away status, and fix a minor bug.

CMS Competency

Joomla!

While I worked with Erin Radio I was to create a custom Photoshop design and implement it into Joomla!'s template system. I incorporated the design with poll, search and other Joomla! modules. I also maintain and modify Younique Country Retreat's website using Joomla!. I enjoy using this CMS because it is fairly straight forward to modify and work with.

Drupal

I have worked with Drupal briefly. I am confident on the use of the program.

WordPress

I have created a personal blog using WordPress as well as setup and maintain YouniquBlogs.com. WordPress is very customizable and has thousands of plugins to fit every need. I love working with WordPress because it is very simple to use, administer and edit.

ZenCart

I am currently working with ZenCart on YouniquShop.com. I have just started working with it but again, I am confident using it.

TGPX

I strongly encourage the use of this software for your adult entertainment websites. It is highly customizable and work-with-able. I have been working with one client who exclusively uses this software and I think its great and the developer supports the software very well.

Please don't hesitate to email me if you don't see your CMS here, I will gladly investigate the CMS to find out if it is within my scope. If not, I know several trusted programmers to assist.
